Welcome to 8th Grade Science

My name is Stephanie Brock, and I am excited to be teaching 8th grade science again this school year.  I graduated from New Waverly High School in 1998 and earned my Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M (WHOOP!) and my Master's degree from Sam Houston State University.  This year will be my 12th year working in the education field.  Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, exercising and trying to cook something new.  My husband and I have two daughters, and they keep us pretty busy.

I anticipate great things for my students this year!  Students are expected to take responsibility for themselves and be involved in the learning process.  My goal as a teacher is to instill in each student the desire for learning and a willingness to do their best in EVERYTHING that they do.

Together we will be BUILDING THINKERS TO...THINK LIKE SCIENTISTS!

As the new school year gets started, be on the look out for ways to connect

with our classroom to easily keep up with what we are learning.  If you would like to be

a part of the 8th grade science REMIND, please indicate on your student's classroom

rules and procedures parent letter.

Please feel free to contact me at anytime with concerns or questions.

Best Regards,

Stephanie Brock
